Homeschool Woodworking 101 - Ages 11 and up

It's time to bring woodshop back into the classroom. We have a passion for woodworking and love to teach! This class is tailored to meet the needs of homeschoolers ages 11 and up. This is a beginner class that will focus on the most commonly used hand tools and power tools used for woodworking. The student will learn important safety measures that should be adhered to while using each tool and in the workshop in general. There is a didactic portion that will cover important concepts related to working with wood. The student will be able to apply this knowledge while working with the tools in a safe environment. Each student will build his/her own project too! All supplies provided.

This is the first homeschool class we have offered. If your child would like to pursue additional classes, please let us know as we hope to offer a semester or series of classes in the future.
